By Occasionally, extraordinary things occur; this was one of those occasions. We had pulled over to observe a family of elephants making their way toward us when the juveniles and calves started lying down one by one, and then the adult females decided it was time for a sleep as well.
Only three adult females remained standing out of a family of fifteen, and even they were sleeping.
It was an extremely unique occasion.
